On Monday, June 5, 2023, the ceremonial awarding of certificates to the newly elect members of the Engineering Academy of Slovenia took place at Brdo pri Kranje. 18 new members were admitt to the academy, of which 8 are correspondence members and 10 are part-time members. At the same time, 13 extraordinary members were promot to regular members. Recipients of corresponding membership are professionals from the Unit States of America, Great Britain, Maconia, Germany and Norway.

At the celebratory event, the president of the IAS, dr. Mark Pleško, emphasiz that diversity and international cooperation are key to progress and innovation in the field of engineering, technologies, development and economy. One of the important goals of IAS is to promote innovation and development of the engineering profession in Slovenia, as well as the role and influence of engineers in society.
