This podcast was a very pleasant surprise. Halfway between a journey and a reportage, Pianosa – The Devil’s Island tells the story of the beauties of this Tuscan island, but also – and above all – its very particular history. Silvia Giralucci takes us to discover the events of Pianosa, which in the past was an agricultural penal colony and then a maximum security prison for Red Brigade members and mafia bosses. Really interesting.
Let’s talk about sports again, but this time with important historical and social implications. In fact, I recommend this podcast to everyone. It is not just a sports whatsapp marketing service story. It is set during the 1968 Mexico Olympics and is inspired by an image that went around the world: the moment when on the 200-meter podium the two black American athletes Tommie Smith and John Carlos raised their closed fists with black gloves to the sky in protest. Around that moment gravitate many other human and political stories that are really interesting to listen to.
Also by Riccardo Cazzaniga, for those who love history with all its social and cultural implications, I also recommend 1989 – Wind of Change , a podcast dedicated to the year that changed the recent history of the world, leading to the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Who knows the United States best. A journey that began in 2015 and culminated with the story of America pre and post Donald Trump. After being on stand by for a while, Da Costa a Costa is back in 2020. Even if it may seem useless, I recommend taking the opportunity to listen to the old episodes again. An interesting podcast for journalists, but also for those who are hungry for news and reports.
Sports Podcasts
This is the podcast for football lovers. Journalist and commentator Stefano Borghi takes us back to six games that left their mark in the 90s. An important decade told through games that have become historic, others less famous, in Italy, Europe and South America. , never becoming a cold minute-by-minute account of the game. Despite this, I would recommend this podcast to football fans.
A podcast for those who love football storytelling. As the name suggests, Lettera 12 presents twelve passionate and passionate letters written by as many telegram for travelers: how to find local communities authors (including myself) and addressed to great protagonists of the world of football. My letter is the one addressed to Roberto Baggio: episode 3. Riserva di Lusso is a podcast for romantics of this sport.

This is the right podcast if you are looking to bring a breath of fresh air into your life . Domenico Marra’s advice can be useful for your career, to increase your productivity, but also to introduce good habits into your daily routine
The podcast to question the future. What will we be like at the end of the pandemic? What will change and what will remain the same? Will we emerge stronger or more fragile? In these episodes Carlo Annese talks to as many creatives (from different sectors) to try to crawler data understand what tomorrow will be, what awaits us in the post Covid-19. Very interesting and stimulating, I must say.
TV series have conquered our days. Or at least a large part of our free time. Netflix teaches. This podcast comes to our aid by telling, half seriously and half jokingly, about the TV series of the moment (American and otherwise). As the authors themselves claim, Pilota is a chat between friends who love TV series to the point of making it almost a reason for living, or rather, a religion. Those who prefer films to series can listen to Ricciotto ( here ), the podcast dedicated to the world of cinema
Italian Food Podcasts
How important is food? And how much is it linked to the most delicate moments of our lives? Even if you are not a food lover, you just need to stop for a moment to realize that each of us has a personal relationship with food and that this is deeply linked to our identity. Mariachiara Montera’s podcast is a beautiful starting point for personal reflection and it is almost impossible not to identify with one of the stories told. An internationally renowned winemaker and the most famous journalist for his storytelling skills tell the stories of the history of wine. An exciting journey through curiosities, anecdotes, technical and practical information to discover everything, absolutely everything, about wine. DiVino is a podcast for wine lovers, but in my opinion also for teetotalers: because you learn a lot about.
