In the properties drop-down, choose your domain.
To see what keywords your site is ranking for, click ” Full Report ” in the “Performance” graph on the summary page.
Or you can click on ” Search Results ” in the left menu to get to the same place.
The report shows a line graph with clicks, impressions, average CTR and average position for the last three months.
To see the keywords your site is ranking for, scroll down to the ” Top Queries ” table. These are your ranking keywords along with the corresponding metrics in the line graph above.
To see if you’re ranking for a specific keyword, scroll back up and click ” + New ” to filter by query.
A box like this will appear. Select ” Exact Query ” from the dropdown, enter the keyword you want to see data for, and click ” Apply .”
If you don’t see any data for the keyword you entered, it means your site isn’t ranking for it.
If your site ranks for the keyword, you’ll see something like this:
Want to focus solely on ranking? Click the blue, purple, and green boxes so that only the orange ” Average Position ” block is selected.
This shows you how the keyword ranks each day over time. The default time period is the last three months, but you can change this if you wish.
While you can’t create a list in GSC like you can in Semrush Position Tracking, you can export GSC data to your computer for further tracking. You could create your own charts and tables in Excel, for example.
SGC data is only available for 16 months, so you may want to consider exporting it periodically to save keyword data long-term.
